I have long, thick, straight hair {it'sjust about half way down my back, just alittle shorter then that} I was wondering that if I got a Really Loose Pem.... would it look like thses pics

eh i would'nt get a perm if i we're you! i have really thick hair and layers looks better! just curl it whenever you want! it's much easier(:

Curling your hair almost never comes out the way you want it to... I'd advise against it. Just be thankful that you have straight hair, some girls get up hours earlier each morning to achieve what you have naturally.

perms are bad 4 ur hair, i wouldnt reccomend it at all!

Yes. They will do a loose perm. If you want it to look like the 2nd picture you posted, tell them to give you a very loose perm(or spread out the chemicals more) and dont do the top, because the people in the pictures dont have curly hair on the top.

i dunno, but i think u should print out the pic and show the hairstylists that u want your hair something like that.....

no you dont need a perm to do that after you get out of the shower and wash your hair then all you do is put some moose, or some gel and keep scrunching it until it gets really curly but make sure you pat your hair almost dry but kinda damp before you put the gel on it

uhg i hate curly hair its so hard to manage so i end up doin nothing with it cuz if i did it would take hours and no i end up with a half fro... i wouldnt do it if i were you ... your so lucky to have streight hair

I had the same look done. My hair was quite long so it two perms, not done at different times but two bottles of solution was used. I told them exactly "i don't want poodle curls" so they used larger curlers. Having the pictures to go by will be a big help to you, I used a magazine or book that they had at the salon to show mine. But it was simple to explain to them what I wanted. I really liked it and it held for longer then I thought it would, just took some moose when it was wet to reactivate it after it was grow out. Will be going back soon to get mine done again.

I noticed people saying don't perm the top of your head; in order to change your look you can just comb moose through the top of your hair to make it straight. If you don't perm the top it will grow out even faster.

Perms are not healthy for your hair but if done right they are just as bad as a high heat blow dyer.

i suggest you go to a hair stylist and show them a pic that you like and tell them that you would like your hair done like that.
