He's a 22 year old guy. He lost a bet to me, whichever of us lost would have to get a hairstyle of the other's choice and keep it for a month. I won. I want something really feminine, just because I won and can do it. He has really long straight black hair. With a hair stylists' help, could he pull this off? And would it be cruel?

If his hair is long enough, it wouldn't be hard to curl it like the picture. I think it would be funny, and it would only last until he wet it or washed it, so it is not irreversible, so no harm done.

It would really really hard for him to keep it up without it flattening by day three. Is his hair curly? Would he have to get it permed?

That hairstyle is all about styling, curling and product to hold all that curl. I dont understand, will he be styling his hair every day? How are you going to make him take that kind of time with it?
I say you should make him wear pony tails, up high, like on the top of his head with pink bows. Or how about one or two french braids down the back-that would be easy to do, then keep for a couple days. Ha Ha!
