Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

Had the displeasure of going to Paul's Art Show in Short Hills, NJ. After waiting in line for 2 hours, we finally get brought into the art gallery. We saw Paul and said "Hi". He walked over to our group and in a very rude and disrespectful tone reminded us that "we are in an art gallery, not a record store or guitar store. I'm only here to sell art so I will only meet you if you buy my art". And then he stormed away. I guess Paul needs money more than we thought. He's a greedy, rude and ungrateful old geezer that has had facelifts and has fake hair. I guess his new album isn't doing so well %26amp; he needs the money. After being fan since I'm 8 years old, I'm really shocked that is such a jerk!

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

You're shocked that the personality you see on TV and stage is not the real person? How old are you?

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

I met Paul Stanley yesterday at costco and went up to him in line at the deli. I know this sounds odd, but thats how i met him and he was such a cool person and didn't turn away when I asked if he was Paul Stanley. He asked me my name and it made me feel good to know that such a big star is so cool. Report It

THis man has been practically worshiped and you are surprised he is stuck on himself? Sorry you were disappointed, but you should have seen it coming.

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

I'm not shocked. A lot of celebrities are surrounded by yes men and always get what they want...this screws up their heads, and they begin to believe their more important than others, so they sometimes treat others badly. He's an idiot.

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

stars are only human.

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

he is a person like you and me..are you polite to every person you meet...and if the guy is there to sell paintings and not chit chat with music fans

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

I'm sure there are a few nice celebrities out there.

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

Paul has offered blatant false advertising for many years through his band's song lyrics.

This disrespectful action clearly shows that he was defnintely not "made for loving you baby."

Do you know Paul Stanley from Kiss is rude!?

Hope you didn't buy anything! He is a jerk for saying that. What did he expect, most people were there to see his art [and see if he really is an artist, not just slapping paint on a canvas for money] and him, not buy it. I would have left, but not before I reminded him that people have spent big bucks on him and Kiss, maybe he should be a bit nicer.

He's taking his own "celebrity" just a little too seriously. Quit buying his albums! Check it out see if he has a web site, or a fan club, and tell how awful he was.

  1. One question for the person who got this ball rolling. Was there anyone in or around your group wearing or carrying any kind of KISS , Anything ? Paul would say something along those lines if so because at the end of the day Wentworth Galleries took a big chance on Paul's art work. In the music world, Paul's name carries a lot of weight. Not so in the art world. Not At All. I can tell you when Paul first landed the Wentworth Gig , there were tons of fans who showed up wanted pics and autographs. This type of thing is NOT what Wentworth had in mind. They could have easily removed Paul in favor of another up and coming artist. I'm not making excuses for Paul in fact , The first time I met him , he was a bit rude as far as I was concerned. But hey, When the lights go out and the curtain drops there is know body bigger or better. AGREED ??

  3. well if u were followed by cameras in your face and people not leaving you alone all the time, wouldn't you be in a pretty bad mood? i mean like i bet this is the only place where Paul gets his peace and quiet... maybe he only wants you to recognize him for his art in his artwork not the talent. I LOVE KISS!!!!!! i grew up only with there music.. my dad was a huge fan and i am too! love u kiss

  4. They are really just a tribute band to the original line up.

  5. Paul is the nicest, most down to earth, intelligent member of KISS. At least you weren't dealing with King Asshole Gene, doped up, drunk Ace or wasted Peter!
And he's really trying to disassociate himself from KISS and prove himself as an artist, though ironically his subject matter is mostly himself as Star Child and he's using this persona to promote the exhibit...

  6. Paul was very rude to me at a Kiss concert in Calgary 1988. He would not shake my hand , but was shaking everyone else's ,and sneered at me while avoiding my hand!
