How do I straighten side bangs?

I want my hair to be like this especially when tied:

My hair is straightened permanently btw.

Every day before I go to school, I take around 8 minutes to dry my hair using a hairdryer (I wash it everyday. I don't like not doing so) and less than 20 minutes to straighten the quite curly parts and curl the ends and curl my fringe (to make it look not stiff). But after a while, it would go curly at the roots..

My fringe is in between my nose and my lips. I'm planning to cut it myself to get side swept bangs like above.

How do I straighten the bangs (using a hairdryer wouldn't make it stay cus I have - as you know - 8 hours of school) and not make it not go curly at the roots?

Put in a straightening serum when your hair is wet and instead of blow-drying, use a wet to dry straightener. It does both jobs. Just straighten your bangs the way you do the rest of your hair. The water will sizzle but your hair won't get burned. Make sure to use some sort of heat protection on your hair often, because constant use of the straightener could hurt your hair in the long run.

Put a little gel in before you straighten them.

Make sure you straighten the roots.

Also, try straightening them the way that they are going to stay. like don't hold your bangs up and straighten them.

Getting them cut shorter will probably help too.

You probably only need to trim your fringe, if you want your fringe to curl like in the photo's, then all you need to do when you straighten it is curl it under, then mess it about in the direction you want.

As for having "bangs" that are straight, Hairspray. Only a little bit though, As you straighten them, or blow dry them, hold the can away as far as you can then spray so it isn't noticeable.

Or straighten your hair as often as you can. Before you go to bed, afta you dry your hair, over and over. there are straightening sprays that you can use however, but in the meantime, I suggest just using a tiny amount of hairspray.

Hope I helped =]

I use a chi straightening iron.. It's expensive, but it keeps hair straight unless of course it's raining or very humid outside.

Are you using a flat iron spray? What brand is your flat iron?

Both of these things can play a big part in getting hair to straighten and stay that way all day. Also you need to be sure when you dry your hair that it is completely dry.

More info like what type of hair do you have and what type of climate you live in (humid,dryetc..) will help me be able to give a better answer.

Love the bangs you posted, as a hairstylist I find people love Aussie products that I used. After the bang is dry, use mini flat iron and pull on one side. After that, I simply apply the hairspray on the rounded brush %26amp; curl under bangs then brush toward to the ear. Apply wax or gel on the ends toward to the ear again. You can control the ends the way you want.
