Probably but she will only do it 'cause she has to freak because she's scared you might **** up your hair on accident if you keep doing it yourself and she don't wanna see you upset because of it.

If I was you I'd just tell her and then ask the neighbour and show them the pic of how you want it. xo

ok so your afriad mom is gonna freak, well if you keep hiding it from her she will if your honest she might not flip as badly as you think. Also now they are a bit shorter then you would like thats why you never cut your own hair, Oh we have all done it some time in our lives I know I have, and yes mine did flip but she also said next time just ask and we will go to the salon. So let em grow out for a bit then have a professional cut them in the style you want. Your neighbor getting involved thats kinda iffy, you could just have them there as support when you do but really its your choice. Just no more cutting your own hair ..ok good luck
