Cut side-swept bangs to one length or at an angle?

My friend is going to cut my hair; she's done it before, and it came out alright, but I wanted to ask:

If she cuts my bangs and makes them one length (so I can wear them straight down if I wanted to), would it slope if I pushed them to the sides? As in, would it look like this: http://mary-winstead.net/gallery/albums/...

If the answer is yes, would it be better to cut them to one length (and I don't mean straight across so it's blunt; she's going to cut them in sections) or cut them at an angle/going down?

Which would look better or which would look more like the picture in the link?

Sorry if that was confusing, I don't really know how to put it.

If you're going to wear them to the side more often, an angle would be better. If they're cut straight across where they can be worn down (unless you plan on looking like cousin it), they won't stay to the side.

I believe side bangs look better when they are cut at an angle.... It gives off a better effect
