I'd love to dye my hair like Lindsay Lohan's but not that blonde, strawberry blonde, or light red-- that DEEP intense auburn shade. What would you call that???

i dont really know. If you are dying it yourself i would just look at the pics on the box's...but be careful! i tried to dye my hair a color similar to that myself and it turned out bright clown orange!!! but then i just dyed dark brown over it and it turned out how i had wanted it in the first place!! lol
If you are going to a professional i would just bring them the picture and im sure they know how to make that color for you!

Thats a burgandy ... BUT rememberm colors look diffenrt... how ligh or dark is your hair now? is it "virgin" as in uncolored, un permed? Dry?
The best thing to do is go look at color boxes %26amp; find one you really like ... BYT red id had to do propprly... you are muc better off going to a slon .... ALSO up keep of your color, don't spend the time %26amp; $ to get the perfect shade then let if fade to fast... us products made for color treated hair.

I would call the color as "red brown". Mostly I prefer to black color hairs and on special occasion use different hair colors. But I follow the latest Hairstyles 2010 Trends when selecting my hair colors and haircuts.
