Why am I so freaking ugly? I want to look as gorgeous as the celebrities, but thats impossible. It isn't fair, all the celebrities are gorgeous. I mean I wish I looked like her : http://imdb.com/gallery/granitz/3851/Eve...

But, I know I never will. I'm so ugly, I'm 13 years old, olive skin black long hair and ugly brown eyes. But all the celebrities (like the one in the pictures) have gorgeous bright blue eyes that catches everyones attention. Why am I so ugly for? I have nogood feature of me

Don't get so down on yourself sweetie! I'm sure you are beautiful. As you get older, you will grow into your own skin and love yourself for who you are. Don't say that you're ugly, you're beautiful!

Well, if you want to change the color of your eyes then use color contacts. And if your not happy with your hair then you could curl it or perm it. i hope that helps

well ifeel like im ugli to but its good that every morning u get up u go to the mirror and tell ur self that ur the sexiest person in the world and after a while u start to believe it and you feel better. after a while i started kissing the mirror m and say mmmmm dammmmmmmnnnnnnn u sexi and it made me feel a hole lot better

Hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone likes something different. I was discussing with a friend of mine just the other day how what we preferred in looks of a significant other was so different. What I found a attractive he did not.

Also, don't get down on yourself. Many of the worlds most beautiful people we ackward and thought of themselves in the same way you do now when they were your age. But they kept their heads up high and continued moving forward with their lives and time blossomed.

Hello and cheer up Carmen! Don't be so down on yourself. You've got to look at the positive and admirable qualities within you, and that will work out to your favor. I can identify in how you wish you had looks like another, but God chose to make us as He did... and He made you for His glory and made you special. Yeah, those movie stars look good, but so many of them get heavy on cosmetic surgery and all that makeup. I wouldn't be surprised that some of the images you see are airbrushed to cover their flaws. Beauty is skin deep an older gentleman told me once, but ugly is bad to the bone. So there are some beautiful looking folks out there who are not very kind or considerate. So accept yourself just as you are, and don't get into using makeup a whole heap. I'm a believer in if God didn't give it to you, don't go with the fake stuff. Know that God made you special and that He loves you and has a purpose for your life. You've been fearfully and wonderfully made. Read Psalms 139... and see how you are thought of. Keep pushing friend... you're on a journey to become... and you will in time. Don't be in any hurry to become or do a certain thing. Once you get a few years older, you'll feel more comfortable about yourself. What features you do have that are good, accentuate those and leave the rest alone... thanking God for His care over you. im 13 too and i love how i look...you look awesome if you believe that you are beautiful. Besides everyone is beautiful, you just have to find which part is beautiful! and you probably would even grow prettier than that...I know I would becasue i believe I can and I WILL! lolz

Well if you want to look like her as much as you can, try the following things:

.get a spray on or get a real tan,

.use mascara and an eyelash curler,

.and a goldy bronze eye-shadow {apply lightly}

.also if you want her teeth I recomend crest white stripes

oh dont be so hard on yourself. celebrities are fake. its all just make-up and lighting. trust me. im sure there are lots of great features that you have. like your olive skin. your very lucky. im as white as a ghost, i'd kill to have olive skin. I know that there is at least one person who finds you amazingly beautiful. i use to be the same way. when i was about 12 i use to think i was ugly and fat and gross, and i'd never get a b/f. but im 15 now going on 16 and ive already had lots of b/f and ive learned to accept myself. sure i have my bad days, but i just say w/e who cares. you just have to look at the positives, dont let the way you think about yourself drag you down.

You're still young, hon - you'll grow into your face as your grow older, I promise. And honestly, though everyone says it and it's really cheesy sounding, it's totally true - confidence is the sexiest factor in attractiveness. I know some amazing people that, for all they ARE awesome, aren't especially, um, celebrity-gorgeous. But they know what they look like and who they are, and their bearing always suggests confidence. And they've been very, very successfull in attracting attention from the right sources. :)

Even if you have to fake it, make it seem like you have great self-esteem. It's always makes a great impression.

You're only 13 - you have a long time to mature, inwardly and outwardly. Don't stress over it too much. There are very few people that are truly "ugly" physically. Go take a nice spa day with your mom and a few friends, pamper yourselves and take it easy. Don't be too hard on yourself - you sound like a wonderful, and BEAUTIFUL, person. Much love!

I used to think that I was ugly too...but now I see that I'm not. And the first step to becoming beautiful is accepting yourself.

If you are beautiful on the inside it will show on the outside too.

Have you ever tried wearing makeup? Don't go overboard though. To accentuate your eyes wear eye liner and mascara. Don't put the eye loner on too dark though..and I found that if you don't put it along the entire length of the eye, but rather the outside edge until the dark bottom lashes turn light it looks better. Don't fret...you probably are beautiful and just don't see it yet!

Hey Carmen....I'm 13 too. I used to think I was ugly.But you ahve to look also inside you and trust yourself.You CAN look beautiful by dying you hair the color you really want it! Get a tan if you need to or do the same style of hair as the photo has. You must be beautiful if you have already olive color skin and dark hair. Think on the bright side!!! God made you beautiful....there's not many ppl that are really ugly and I am SURE that your not that ugly! Trust in yourself! You will change as you grow older! I promise! Do a makeover on yourself if you need to! Have fun!

Please don't say that. One, olive skin, I have heard is to be one of the most beautiful skin tones that you can have. It is very easy to tan, and it's a gorgous color. Black long hair is also a very lucky feature. It looks especially good if it's straight and slick. As for your eyes, have a friend look into them with a flashlight, when your not looking directly into it, and you will find that your eyes, are very pretty. All eyes are unique and have more then 1 color. Celebrities-a bunch of fakes. Plastic surgery, fake contacts, don't worry. That girl in the pic, yes she is pretty, but she also has a perfecianell makeup artist, hair person, skin person, clothes person I mean I could go on all day!!! Don't worry, you will grow up to be a beautiful lady.

when i was reading that you had long black hair, olive skin - i was hoping that you had brown eyes. When i was thirteen i pretty much felt the same as you do now...but you know what...your feelings about the way you look will change...with each passing day..Trust me with what you have described to me sounds like a wonderful start - a good basis to start from. Please don't call yourself ugly. and please i beg u....don't try to compare yourself to the celebrities...have you seen any of them without their makeup? They all look like us. Forget about your looks for a bit and concentrate on who you are inside...are your grades the best they can be...feel good about yourself.

Im sure you are beautiful by the way the way you describe yourself you sound like you have an exotic look going on but you wont get to appreciate it until you get older. You most certainly ARE NOT ugly, just because you don't fit the hollywood plastic surgery cookie-cutter image mould of what they think beauty should be. Remember it's what's inside that matters most. You should be who you are and love yourself, because what makes you different is what makes you beautiful. You are 13, which is an awkward stage for most people, even celebrities. You have plenty of time to blossom into a swan. Everyone has things that they dislike about themselves.
