I need help with a punk hairstyle?

my hair is long, thick, and light colored. i like my hair light and might go a dark blonde or some shade of brown. not black, thats too dark. i need a new hairstyle but do not want to go any shorter than below the shoulders for length. i am going for a look thats punk (not emo) punk. i dont want anything crazy or scary though. here are some pics i like. i want to make them my own and not look like im a "copier" or "wannabe"

I wouldn't call any of those girls punk... nor their hairstyles... but to each his/or her own...

if the hair is long hair chunky highlights and/or lowlights applied then cut some really shattered layers... preferably with a razor to make the ends thinner... you can even buy those clip in hair pieces to accent the hair and that way you can move them around

Try some highlights. You can try red !!:)You can use your hair to cover your face. Maybe...if you want, wear some black cloth. just try to look emo.
